League of Research Excellence inducts eight from Psychiatry
Eight faculty members from the Department of Psychiatry were among the 140 faculty scientists and physicians who were inducted into the "League of Research Excellence." On March 29, this inaugural group, along with their guests and Medical School and University leadership, attended a reception and dinner in the lobby of the A. Alfred Taubman Biomedical Science Research Building.
The League of Research Excellence is designed to celebrate Medical School faculty researchers who achieve significant successes. The inaugural group included those who have garnered $1 million or more in research awards or expenditures in 2010.
