Celebrating a dynamic duo in the Department of Psychiatry's ECT unit during Nurses Week 2016
Jan McWethy and Brad Packard have worked as a team on the unit since 1999
Brad Packard and Jan McWethy have been on the nursing staff with the U-M Department of Psychiatry's ECT (electroconvulsive therapy) program since 1999.

ECT program is the best leader in this place and treats this entire team like family," said Brad Packard. "If not for Jan and Dan, I doubt that I would still be here and be able to keep up this hectic pace - and enjoy it. All great programs and places, after all, are all about the people."
Jan and Brad emphasized the teamwork necessary to make the ECT program a success.
"It's about the team," Brad added. "This team is much, much bigger now than just Jan and I."
