Understanding Garmin Health Data in Clinical Trials: Metrics, Devices & Implementation

In this virtual DIGIT-MI session, join Jesse Blackstock, Garmin Health wellness sales manager, for an overview of how Garmin devices and data solutions support clinical research and digital health studies. This presentation will introduce the Garmin Health ecosystem, including wearable devices commonly used in research, available health and activity metrics, and options for accessing data through Garmin Health integrations and APIs.

Attendees will gain insight into practical considerations for implementing Garmin technology in clinical trials, including device selection, data collection strategies, participant management, and research workflows. This session is for both technical and non-technical audiences interested in using wearable technology to support research, monitoring, and digital phenotyping initiatives.
