Save the Data! Why QA & QC Are Important for Mobile Sensor Study Pipelines

Quality assurance and quality control are the unsung heroes of the wearable sensor data collection pipeline. Despite their importance, they are often implemented too late in the research workflow, or not at all.

In this DIGIT-MI session, Alicia Carmichael and Brandon Labbree will discuss why an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure using real-life examples from multiple sources. They will then provide practical guidance on implementing both human and automated QA & QC processes both *prior to* and *concurrent with* data collection.
