Mobile Health-Supported Interventions for Older Adults in Underserved Communities: Tips, Tricks, and Workarounds

Older adults from communities facing digital exclusion may require additional support and flexibility to successfully engage with mobile health components of behavioral interventions. In this DIGIT-MI session, Dr. Janevic will discuss learnings from several community-engaged behavioral trials regarding ways to support older adults in using common mobile health elements such as activity trackers, websites, texting, and podcasts.

Mary Janevic, M.P.H., Ph.D., is a research associate professor of health behavior and health equity at the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
