Rebecca Sripada, M.D., Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and health services researcher specializing in PTSD and trauma-related mental health care. Her research focuses on improving access to and delivery of evidence-based treatments—especially among veterans and underserved populations. She leads studies using innovative trial designs (like SMART) to optimize therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure. Dr. Sripada also conducts focus groups and stakeholder-engaged research to inform policy and adapt treatments for real-world settings, including community clinics and the VA.
She is board-certified in clinical psychology and holds leadership roles in multiple federally funded projects aimed at enhancing mental health systems through implementation science.
