Hanjoo Kim, PhD, is a clinical assistant professor in the department of Psychiatry. Dr. Kim's research focuses on prediction, mechanistic explanation, and intervention development for mood and anxiety disorders—including bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety—with a special focus on suicidality. Methodologically, he integrates intensive longitudinal designs, machine learning, and experimental approaches to build scalable, culturally responsive tools that bridge data science and clinical insight.
