Daphna Stroumsa, M.D., M.P.H., M.Sc., is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Stroumsa received their medical education at the Hebrew University / Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem. Dr. Stroumsa also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in health services research (2017-2019), through the National Clinician Scholars Program at the University of Michigan. During the fellowship, Dr. Stroumsa gained expertise in the healthcare needs of transgender and non-binary people. Dr. Stroumsa's research focuses on improving transgender people's access to care, through better understanding of the barriers to care they face. Dr. Stroumsa also has particular interest in the sexual and reproductive health of transgender and nonbinary people.
