Peter Larson, Ph.D., is an adjunct lecturer and research investigator in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. His research interests include spatial and geographic information system analysis, environmental impact, infectious disease, and health disparities. 

Dr. Larson was a participant in the inaugural cohort of the Research Incubator Program. His incubator project explored the impact of climate change on mental health incidents requiring hospital-level intervention in older adults. His research focused on climate change and environmental determinants of mental health-related Emergency Department visits. His project examined the correlation between the effects of climate change and increased risk for acute mental health emergencies.
