The Friends Depression Education Resource Center (FDERC), located in the east end of the Rachel Upjohn Building Atrium, provides a wide array of educational materials from trusted sources on mental health diagnoses, treatment options, self-help strategies, tips on talking to healthcare providers, and regional and national support networks.
The FDERC provides the following services:
- Computer access to our Depression Toolkit website and other reliable mental health information websites
- Staff to help answer questions and locate appropriate materials
- A lending library with print and video materials
- Free brochures, pamphlets, and articles focusing on a wide variety of depressive disorders and other mental health conditions.
