Adolescents at High Risk for Familial Bipolar Disorder

Our Purpose:
To identify risk factors in the development of Bipolar Disorder. If we are able to recognize biological, behavioral, social, or psychological features that predict the development of Bipolar Disorder, we may be able to decrease the impact the illness has on the individual and their family.
Involvement Requires:
Personal Interview
Annual follow up
Completion of self-report questionnaires
Blood sample for genetics
Compensation for your timeQualifications:
You are 12-21 years old
You have a parent or sibling diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder
Both you and a parent are willing to participate
