Depression Center Speakers Bureau
The Depression Center Speaker’s Bureau is intended to enhance the public’s understanding of depressive disorders. To accomplish this, we have invited key members of the Depression Center Network to share their time and expertise by giving talks to community groups, schools, and other such organizations. Collectively, these individuals represent a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals and researchers who have agreed to provide education, outreach and advocacy concerning the treatment and prevention of depressive disorders.
We invite you to search the Speaker’s Bureau list according to topic area or alphabetically by last name. Under each individual’s name you will find their research interests, and preferred presentation topics.
When contacting the Speaker’s Bureau, please indicate the name of the group you represent, the number of people expected, a proposed lecture topic, the amount of time allotted for the activity, the location, honoraria amount, and your contact information. Depending on the member’s availability, he or she will try to accommodate any and all requests.
Please remember that all of the individuals listed live and work around Ann Arbor. Unless you are able to provide reimbursement for travel costs, most speakers will not be able to travel long distances. In addition, honoraria or any other compensation, will be negotiated directly with the speaker.
