Launching of a New Depression Center Program, Campus Mind Works
The Depression Center is pleased to announce the launch of Campus Mind Works, a multi-year project funded by a Department of Education grant. The overarching goals of the project are to:
- Develop web-based educational modules for University of Michigan students with psychiatric disorders, which will provide easy-to-access information to help them to succeed in college while managing their mental health;
- Create a centralized U-M web portal to help students with psychiatric disorders, as well as faculty, staff, and parents, to navigate the many U-M mental health resources and determine which resources will best fit their needs;
- Serve as a catalyst to promote campus-wide collaboration, to ensure that the many different University of Michigan mental health services providers are working together in a coordinated way to best support the health of our students.

- Trish Meyer, Program Manager for Education and Outreach, Depression Center, and Project Manager for Campus Mind Works
- Stephanie Waters, Project Coordinator. Please join us in welcoming Stephanie who a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Prior to coming to the Depression Center, Stephanie worked at University Health Service in the Health Promotion and Community Relations Department while completing her master's degree.
- Steve Brunwasser, Graduate Student Research Assistant. Please also welcome Steve, a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Michigan. His research focuses on the etiology, treatment, and prevention of unipolar depression.
- Lisa O'Donnell, MSW, Research Social Work. We welcome Lisa back to the Depression Center, where she will be instrumental in interviewing students and coordinating this important project. Lisa’s clinical experience, which will help inform the project, involves working with various psychiatric disorders.
