Psychotherapy training and access
The Frankel Program for Improved Access to Quality Mental Health Services for Youth and Young Adults, a donor-funded Depression Center program, offers a range of psychotherapy training opportunities designed for mental health professionals at U-M, within the Ann Arbor community, and throughout the state of Michigan. The Frankel psychotherapy initiative is a collaboration with the U-M Institute for Human Adjustment.
The two major Frankel Program initiatives include:
- The Frankel Psychotherapy Access Initiative, whose goal is to reach more children and families in southeastern Michigan by improving their access to psychotherapy and related services.
- The Frankel Psychotherapy Training Program, whose goal is to build capacity to provide quality psychotherapy services within the U-M community, the surrounding region, and statewide, an initiative that will significantly impact children and families.
