Sharing Best Practices: Call for Proposals
You are invited to create a poster about a research study or model program at your university which relates to the conference theme, “Depression on College Campuses: Integrating Prevention, Resilience, and Positive Mental Health.” These posters, which can be scientific or artistic, will be presented during a networking forum and reception to be held the afternoon of Wednesday, March 7 during the Depression on College Campuses Conference.
Students: If your project is selected for presentation and you are traveling from outside of Ann Arbor, you will receive free hotel accommodations at the Hampton Inn South during the conference.
Faculty: If your project is selected for presentation, your conference registration fee will be waived.
To have your project considered for this poster session, please submit a proposal which outlines the model program or research study that you plan to present, and describes the form that your presentation will take. Each presenter will have an easel and 25x30 poster board for mounting their poster.
Please send your proposal to Stephanie Salazar at sawaters@umich.edu. Deadline for submissions is February 3, 2012.
All proposals will be reviewed by the Depression on College Campuses Conference Executive Committee, and individuals will be notified by February 10, 2012 if their project has been selected.
