Background on the Depression Center Colloquium Series:
The University of Michigan Depression Center Colloquium Series is designed to help regional health professionals and researchers with an interest in depression and related illnesses to understand recent, cutting-edge advances in the epidemiology, etiology, and treatment of depression. Experts will provide useful information on depression throughout the lifespan, including depression in children and adolescents, adults, and the elderly. The topics of diagnosis and treatment of depression, recent advances in depression research and brain imaging, and new treatment modalities will be emphasized. Nationally and internationally distinguished experts are invited to present along with members of the University of Michigan Depression Center Network.

The Colloquium Series was made possible by a generous gift from GlaxoSmithKline.
