Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Wolverine Room
Michigan Union

Did you know that 20% of U-M students report clinically significant symptoms of depression or anxiety at any given point in time? Depression and related illnesses can affect anyone – but the good news is that depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues are very treatable, and there are many excellent resources available for U-M students.

Join us for this panel discussion and forum to learn more about how mental health concerns may impact U-M students, and how we can overcome stigma and other barriers in order to help ourselves, our friends, and our fellow students to stay healthy.

A presentation by Daniel Eisenberg, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, School of Public Health and Todd Sevig, Ph.D., Director, Counseling and Psychological Services, with a panel of experts to answer your questions.

Bright Nights is open to the public and there is no charge for attendance. For more information, please contact Trish Meyer, 763-7495.
